Fun Weekend Get Away
This was a cute place with all the comforts of home (games, some dvds, pots, pans, coffee, towels, soap, etc.). Beds were very comfy! The whole place has a cozy clean feel. We loved sitting out on the deck and smelling the fresh air. The cushions need to be replaced on the chairs outside. I think the squirrels got to the stuffing. There was mice in the home, one in particular mouse was BIG and fat so that had us on edge all weekend. They liked to come out at night. The property is pretty far from town, so keep that in mind. Upon arrival I couldn’t find the email with the lockbox code and the property manager didn’t respond to my messages. Luckily, i found the email with the code in my SPAM folder. Overall, we had a wonderful time! :)

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin! Loved the deck and saw many animals. We saw our daily squirrel, deer and we saw javelinas on our last day. Weather was perfect!

50% of the blinds were missing the turn rods and of thise about 25 % of them didnt operate at all. The pictures were miss leading they made it look like there was flat access into the cabin and there is not. They asked us to strip all beds, do dishes and haul our own garbage out. None of this was mentioned in the property details. The router for internet only work about 35% of the visit. The floors are not 100% flat very unlevel in spots, particularly in the kitchen dining area. The floor in the two bedrooms at the front of the unit makes very load noise while walking causing issues with people sleeping in adjoining rooms. We drove a sedan to the property and the last 500 ft of driveway was very unlevel. The views from the cabin were very nice.

Labor Day Weekend 2021
The cabin was nice and we had a great time. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a classic cabin in the woods. The large patio was amazing and it’s where we spent most of our time. We enjoyed the location of the property and how far into the forest it was. The family room was a great large comfortable space to hang out in as well. The kitchen had everything you needed and had plenty of room to cook. The rooms and linens were clean and comfortable. The directions should mention that the road is located next to the big 4 road and if you’ve gotten to the locked gate you need to back up and take the road right next to it. We got there at night and finding the cabin was not too bad, but that simple instruction would have helped. The cleanliness of the cabin interior was okay. The dishes were not that clean and we had to wash them all before we used them. The fridge is still broken and the mini fridge “replacement” was worthless. We used our coolers the entire time. The oven had heating/power issues. We had to cook all our meals at 550 degrees(highest setting) and everything took around an hour to cook when they should have cooked in 15-30 minutes. The exterior of the cabin was rough. Broken parts of the cabin, tools, and construction materials were lying all over the place. Don’t even bother using the corn hole game. The bags are torn and loosing the inside materials. The boards were so damaged by the weather that the bags wouldn’t even slide. Very minor cosmetic fixes would have made this a 5 star review.

The only thing is add a blender and it would be perfect also when we got there there was a smell not sure what exactly it was but maybe it was the bathroom

Quiet time in the pines
Cabin was great and quiet! However there were some issues on the road coming in as there was an issue about a neighbors gate being locked that required a few calls to get tracked into the site. It was extremely hot that weekend and with no A/C made it somewhat uncomfortable during the day to cool down. This cabin was an amazing escape from the rat race of the city on a Father’s Day weekend with the entire family.

Long family weekend
The house is very simple but comfortable. Loved all the outdoor seating on the deck. The road to get there is challenging but part of the charm staying there. Glad our trucks were trail ready. The last 3-4 miles are dirt road. Would be very difficult in the winter for sure. Would definitely stay again. If you are looking for a remote cabin in the woods, this is the place.
