Lots of little gimmicks to make profit. Hidden fees here and there. Nothing is straight up about the place. There’s no bargain unless you’re getting to stay for free

We had a wonderful stay. The Princeville resort is by far the best location on the island of Kauai. The pool and beach are absolutely gorgeous. Our room had a spectacular view of the pool, mountains, and ocean. The room was clean and very comfortable. We had excellent service throughout the property. I highly recommend staying here.

The Princeville Resort was magnificent! When we arrived they upgraded us to an ocean view room. We had the best vacation and the most amazing view on the island! Thank you PR!

looks like they havent spent a dime on the place in decades. Also, since it is on the north end of the island, sun and beautiful days are just not to be had here. we literally didnt see the sun at all in our 5 days, Drove to south east part of island and found lots of sun. 4 DAYS AFTER WE LEFT IT GOT 27 INCHES OF RAIN IN 24 HOURS !!! way overpriced for what it is.

Fabulous hotel overlooking Hanalei Bay

Pros: Location, amenities, friendliness of staff, size of room, view we're all terrific.
Cons: Quality of dining experience could be improved as described earlier.
Location: Swimming and snorkeling available on site as well as at nearby beaches such as Anini, Hanalei Bay, and Tunnels. HIdeaway Pizza and Pub an easy walk.
We had a wonderful two night stay at the St Regis Princeville. The amenities and hotel staff were great. The buffet breakfast was over the top. The only disappointment was dinner at the Makana Terrace but the manager did make it right for us. Our fish dinners were overcooked and not as described in the menu. The manager had the plates taken back and prepared again. The second time things were great. The manager offered us complimentary wine and a discounted dinner to make up for the original problem.
