The jerks on staff called me at 12:30 and 1:45 AM to request me to come give them a scan on my ID. THe hole reason for staying there was to get sleep

Cons: Noisy, staff calls rooms early am, staff are idiots
I need an appology from the jerks on staff and never got one. THe fool who checked me in asked for my license. Had to wait wait wait until he gave it back so I could leave check in. THen he calls me at 12:30 ( I did not answer), and 1:45 am only to ask me to come let them scan my ID. THe whole reason I booked this hotel was to get a good sleep before a 400KM bike ride. So much for sleep. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Felt like coming home!!!!

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet

Customer Friendly Staff

I have traveled to plenty of hotels and have had nice staff, but the staff here went over and beyond to make my stay nice. I was here looking for an apartment and had questions about the area regarding locations. The staff help me find places in the area I wanted to live in and gave me places to dine for dinner. I also enjoyed my stay due to be located on a popular road in Raleigh where I could travel up and down and find everything I needed for my stay. Thanks for the great hospitality and I will look forward to doing business again.

This was my idea of a budget hotel.

We stayed here for 3 nights in 2009, so things might have changed by now. The room had everything advertised, but the furniture was dilapidated and although the picture on the internet looked fine, the whole place was less than inviting. My one request at the hotel desk was nearly laughed at, and I was told that another Lodge America did have hair dryers to borrow, but not this one. The place is old and so it's hard to look clean, but I think it was OK. Our blankets were stained and had holes, but the sheets were clean. I wouldn't stay here again; the whole atmosphere was a little creepy.

Awful..................

You really do get what you pay for. Booked for 5 nights and made it 2. No refund bc booked through travel website. LOUD!!!!! Could not sleep there. Doors slaming, people yelling. Never again. Hope I learned my lesson. THANKS travel website.

You Get What You Pay For

My main attraction to this hotel was the price. However, as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. The room was horrible. The bed mattress creaked with every move. The remote for the tv did not work. The thermostat for the AC did not work; so you either had to turn it on or off. There was no bar soap in our bathroom. When I went to the front desk to ask for some, I was told they were out and waiting on a truck to come in. We decided to leave the next morning; however, there was no one available in the office to check us out! The door was LOCKED!!! Even the online travel website company could not get in contact with them to confirm our early departure. This was really a horrible experience, and I would not recommend this place to anyone; regardless of the price.

Be careful out there.

Probably ignorance on my part, but this chain, maybe all long-term stay places, has specific hours for the office/lobby. It is only open from 7 AM to 9 PM! You can't check out early to make your 8 AM meeting! I was able to check in late, like at 10 PM, but I might have been lucky, they were still there. Didn't realize the hours of the office. And don't expect shampoo or even kleenex. Exactly one bar of soap in the bathroom.

Aweful:

I travel all of the time and have been a VIP member for years, you need to send someone out to look at these rooms and see the people that were just hanging outside. They must rent rooms by the hour. When I got there, there was no one to check me in so security had to check me in. I was on the third floor and the elevator smell like someone went to the bathroom in there. When I got upstairs the key did not work. I had to go back down to get another key. I had to walk by a group of guys that were just hanging out swearing and drinking. I get in the room and the TV has no remote, spiders in the bathroom, no toiletries and smelled just awful

Nice place to stay.

My stay at this hotel was all I could ask for. The Staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was kept clean and the trash was picked up every day. If there was anything I needed all I had to do was ask one of the housekeeping people and they saw to it that I got what I needed. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is planning to be in the area for over two days. It offers all the comforts of home almost except it would be nice to have a oven to cook in instead of just a microwave oven and stove top.

Clean with basic amenities

You get a basic room with amenities to make an extended stay comfortable like a refrigerator, micowave and stove. You have everything you need. Was very clean and affordable.
