We had a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom suite. One of the toilets overflowed and flooded the bathroom, vanity area and several feet onto the carpeted area of the bedroom. Called the front desk to ask for help and was told there was no maintenance it would have to wait until the next day, but we could come to the front desk and get a plunger and extra towels to clean it up! We left the next morning for the day, when we returned in the evening the carpet had been vacuumed. Later that night.... same thing toilet overflowed! We turned off the water. When I again reported it, was told that the people that stayed prior to us reported the same issue!!!! When paying $220 per night for these rooms not what I would expect!

Great place to stay

We were there for the LA County Fair in September 2008. Had to extend our stay due to the hurricane that hit Houston. All flights were cancelled. Staff was very accomodating. The hall was being recarpeted and rooms renovated, but we never noticed except for the taped off area. Buffet was limited but the food was good with variety. Staff treated us as "guests" not just as customers. Very pleasant, friendly and helpful. Plan to return in September 2009 for the LA Fair again. Great accessiblity and restaurants. Go to In-n-Out near I-10 and Fudruckers across the street.
