Michael, I did some research on your check in, You stated she lied, she was trying to tell you you did not read you the hotel policy, we put a hold on your major credit card or debit card for incidentals , it is released at check out at midnight if there no charges on it. Stated on Expedia!, and also our confirmation letter we send to you. She needs an apology! Most people never have a problem they totally understand, because they read.Ana is very professional and a sweet person.

The adjancent perkins restaurant was not opened during the hours they had posted or the hours on their web site. Very disappointed thinking we had time to eat when we arrived back from our touring trip. The hotel didnt have much other than chips in the vending machine either.

Unfortunately the Perkins adjacent to our hotel is not apart of us. The do have their own hours posted. As mentioned we do have vending machines or we also recommend nearby restaurants!

Thank Andrew for letting us know. Sorry for your experience, the staff said you could not come up with the Hold for the incidental and you did not even stay in the room...the room was untouched.

Thank goodness for Elizabeth at the 3pm shift. The worker Katie was rude to guests, made everyone sit in the lobby until 3:01pm to check in like a warden. Then she berated Elizabeth in front of everyone and even said that she kept doing things wrong. I had left a message to return my call about my pet and no return call. Then we went to the room and it’s been chewed up by an animal. We don’t want to be charged for it because it was done prior to our arrival. Then we went to the pool and there were giant dead bugs throughout. I took photos. Elizabeth is a sweet soul and is the only saving grace of this place. Katie made us so uncomfortable that I wanted to leave immediately.

I do not know how true all this is because we do not have huge bugs in S.Dakota. We get a flying pine beetle once in a great moon, but maybe one at a time. I sent 2 different people to go look and they did not see any bugs.It is Moth or Miller season and they are bad.and uncontrollable, it is like the Box elder bug, spray will not kill them, only 2 hard freezes in the fall. The instruction on all OTA's (on line travel agencies) in regard to Pets is to call the Hotel direct. Elizabeth is a very sweet young lady and I did talk to Kati, some days are very hectic, but we still have to keep that smile on. If you smile you will probably get one back.
