Room for improvement
The house is very far out from town. This would be a nice feature if the home had everything you need for a stay. Kitchen is lacking. The trash bins were completely full of trash and weeds. So it made it challenging for us to empty our trash. The side yard still had a lot of weeds. The back yard had trash and beer boxes. The floor was dirty. You had to wear socks to avoid black feet, so our socks were black as a result. This has great potential, but needs better attention to detail.

Nice quiet place outside the city
I was there for cycling events held on 3 consecutive weekends and this served as my base camp for the bulk of the trip. Nice neighborhood, quiet and peaceful, with great gravel routes in nearby Ironwood Forest.

Great place to stay, pretty clean but not perfect, improvement could be had with more kitchen towels and a greater selection of cooking (pots&pans) &cleaning materials. Good location for staying out of the city but close enough. Comfortable.

Room For Improvement
This was my first time ever using VRBO so maybe I had different expectations, however this stay didn’t meet what I would typically experience. All communication was with a man. Not the female listed as the host. This made me uneasy as we were all female. The check in process was a complete mess. I had to contact customer service to get the check in instructions which ended up being a picture of the key location with no additional instructions on where on the property the picture was taken. Check in time was 2:00 and I received the photo at about 2:20. The second concern was likely my fault. As I said, I am a new user, so I could have made a mistake in the booking process. My daughter brought her dog along as the listing stated that one dog was allowed. After checking in, I received an email from vrbo asking for an additional payment. The message from the host only stated I ignored the pet fee. Had I been aware, I would’ve made the payment prior to checking in. The following were the other issues I had with the stay; The remotes are missing batteries. We couldnt use the tv in the living room area and had to take batteries from one remote in the master to turn the fan on. The cleanliness of the house. (What looks like urine on the bathroom wall, dishes in the dishwasher, socks and Christmas decor in the nightstand, opened milk in the fridge, no top sheet on master bed, wrong size comforter, unwashed towels, dog poop in yard, cigarette butts in driveway.)
