Refrigerator leaked over half the floor, coffee maker wouldn’t work, one queen bed had already been slept in, bathroom dirty, room not dusted for months, bed quilt had tears.

The worst hotel I ever stayed

It was no sheets or blankets for the sofa bed, it was not hot water I I have to take a shower with cold water at 5 in the morning

The gas was turned off in the neighborhood during the night for a while. Once again I am so sorry as we are a much better place then we showed you. OK but not worth the money

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, convenient location to palo alto
Cons: poor house keeping
We stayed two nights at Best Western Plus Executive suites while attending a graduation at nearby Stanford. The location is convenient for travel to both SF airport and Palo Alto. The suite we stayed was spacious: nice size bedroom, bath, sitting room, and kitchenette. All reasonably furnished, the bed was very comfortable, and clean. Despite the suite was facing the busy El Camino Real, the traffic could not be heard. There were two old TVs, i.e. not flat screens, one in each room, but I did not check to see if they or the internet connection worked. The big picture was nice. Unfortunately, the little details one would expect from a place of this price range were lacking. The kitchenette was completely bare - not even paper towels. After the two foam cups were used for a cup of tea, I had to fetch more cups from the reception area. The second day, we went out and returned to the room in midafternoon to get ready for another function. We found the used towels had been removed but not replaced. The bed was not made, and the trash – used cups, newspapers etc., remained where they were. I asked and got new towels from the front desk. When we returned at night, the house keeping had not visited. I went and got two more cups. The breakfast was reasonable, but the area was cramp and the room stuffy. Even though the bedroom was quite, or perhaps you could not hear the traffic over the noise of the window air-conditioning unit, in the sitting room, the orders being taken at the fast-food joint next door could be clearly heard, even with the window s closed. Next morning, around 8:00, a visibly irritated housekeeping person had the gall to ask if we were leaving, even without a good morning. The front desk people were not as rude, but a little more curtsey could have helped. This is definitely a lot better than some family run motels we had the misfortune to visit in the area, but was not worth the money.

Good location, comfortable, quiet and clean. With a hot tub!

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet, hot tub and laundry room
A good location just outside San Fran, was comfortable and clean, and despite proximity to street room was very quiet. A gym and hot tub with convenient laundry room were perfect. We will stay here again.

GOOD VALUE!!!

WE DID NOT CARE FOR THE LOCATION. BUT THE ROOM WAS VERY SPACIOUS AND CLEAN AND A GOOD VALUE. THE STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL.

Good Choice in Redwood City

We stayed 3 nights at this Best Western. The room was clean and pleasantly comfortable. Office staff was extremely helpful and went out of their way to provide information and suggestions that enhanced our visit. The Continental Breakfast was very well rounded and of nice quality. We really liked the set-up for the exercise room and hot tub, which were adjacent to each other and basically removed from all other activity. Both were very enjoyable. At first look, the location wasn't thrilling - at the intersection of two busy roads and across the street from a grocery store. The good points outweighed the location however. The grocery store provided opportunity for some cheap meals in the room (WAY cheaper than restaurants) and the busy roads did not prove to be a problem - actually made coming and going pretty easy. This is not a luxury resort or over the top, but for the money we were extremely happy with Best Western in Redwood City.
