Room was musty smelling and kind of gross, but not dirty. Hasn't been updated in years. Water pressure was nice in the shower but not hot water in the sink. Dog-friendly which is nice and maybe the reason for the condition.

Run don't stat

The room had mold and smelled musty. The AC unit had mold on it. I told the lady at the desk and she said housekeeping would take care of it. Never apologized or offered a solution. The toilet looked like someone had pooped and hadn't been cleaned. The tub was black. Horrible horrible horrible.

Not a bad stay

Wasn't a bad stay at all. Better than most places I've been to recently, although the room was small. Pricing reflected the size, only thing that would have made it better is if you could actually sit on the toilet straight and not completely sideways.

Affordable and close to the beach, but lower your expectations

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, friendly staff
The best thing about this hotel is that it is a half block from the beach. If you want an affordable place with a good location and are willing to put up with a slightly shabby room, it's not a bad place to stay. It's also pet-friendly, which we appreciate because we usually travel with our dog. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and fixed a slow-draining bathroom sink right away. Two really down sides were a pretty worn out bathroom with sub-par water pressure in the shower and a noisy air conditioner that was very close to one of the beds.
