My room was not ready. It was missing the shower curtain, floor mat, iron, and hair dryer. One of towels and shower cap were not placed neatly or were perhaps used and not cleaned at all since there was hair on the toilet. Also, the smoke detector was on the tv stand, and the phone did not work.

The room looked nothing like the pictures. Things were broken and missing.

We paid over $100 a night to stay here for the memorial weekend. The room was clearly not ready for us to stay for this price. as the light was keep turning off, only warm or hot water coming out of bathroom sink, pool wasn't ready till the next evening with no notice,2nd night they started construction work downstairs past 9pm making a lot of noise. Took us over 3times going down asking them to stop. Wifi & tv was terrible. Asked for discount but they were not giving us anything.

Filthy Conditions

This was the worst hotel room that I have stayed at. The curtain was hanging on by 1 hook. The walls fridge microwave bathtub toilet were not clean. The tv stopped working after 12. The room needs to be deeply sanitized. Lots of boarded up rooms on the property. I wouldn't suggest to anybody. Owners should be ashamed for letting it get this bad after seeing all previous reviews.

Yuck

This hotel was definitely the worst I've ever been to. I've stayed in other Vagabond Inns and never saw one this disgusting. The first room they tried to give us was up a staircase which had cracked and crumbling stairs. The inside of the room looked like it had been used in CSI episodes. The curtains were half falling down, all the hard surfaces like the desk and nightstands were chipped and peeling, the chair was showing stuffing, the bathroom looked like no one had cleaned it in 10 years and it had a leaky faucet, the toilet kept running, the smoke detector as well as used napkins were in drawers, and the ceiling had a patch job that was never painted over. It was supposed to be nonsmoking but smelled like it had been sealed with smokers inside. Truly nasty. I changed rooms to one right by the office. The newer room at least looked like it was cleaned this decade, but furnishings and bathroom were still outdated and in poor shape.

Great people/Shabby facilty/Near Convention Center

Pros: The people at the front desk are friendly and efficient, and helped me jump through some hoops that are often difficult at hotels. Top notch service.
Cons: The hotel itself is run-down. To be frank, it's an eyesore.
Location: Very short walk to the Convention Center and food.
See below. Overall I thought that the plusses were more than the minuses, and liked that it was close to the convention center.

OK and in a handy part of town

Pros: The central location and grassy areas for kids to play in.
Cons: No fridge or micro wave. It could use a paint job.
Location: Centrally location, easy walking or driving to other parts of town.
We enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean and there was a nice grassy area where grand kids could stretch their legs. It was easy an walk to parks, shopping, 2 larger hotels. Although the facility is showing it's age and needs some up keep, it suited our family's needs nicely.

Please do not stay here.

Truly, spend an extra $20 and stay somewhere else. Old, tired, worn-out rooms, located in run-down part of town. The friendliness of the staff can not make up for how out-of-touch this place is. THX!
