Staff was friendly and outgoing. Facility was old and dated. Crumbling stairwells, stained hallways. Room smelled of cigarettes. Centrally located with good food nearby.

You advertise breakfast but all that is provided are Nature Valley bars and instant oatmeal in paper cup. No coffee in rooms.

Booked single bed originally, but needed second bed for bridge partner. Manager upgraded me for free, very nice of her. On arrival, I turned down sheets: beetle carcass in bed. I wanted a bath; no bath stopper. So I took a shower, but no grab bars and tub floor was slippery. I'm a disabled senior, so this was a serious problem. I was told this was an ADA room. If so, it should have had grab bars. Middle of the night, toilet decided not to flush. Called front desk "please come and plunge toilet." "We don't do that, but the maintenance man will come tomorrow. I said that's unacceptable, I need a working toilet. "You can come to the office and I'll give you a plunger." "I'm disabled, please bring it to me." "I can't do that." So at 3:30 AM my partner is standing in the street outside the office in her nightgown and slippers, waiting for the guy to show up. Finally got toilet working, but can't get back to sleep; mattresses are too hard. Partner says "I'm not staying another night in this place." I try to pick up voicemail, but my room is in a Consumer Cellular dead zone, and I have no service. Upon checkout, I told manager about problems. She gave me a rebate (should have offered me a refund, but I was just happy to get some kind of reduction) and apologized for plunger incident. The guy was supposed to bring us the plunger; she's had other complaints about him. They have tub stoppers; guests keep stealing them. She couldn't tell me why there were no grab bars.

Cons: Appliances in room. Grounds cleanliness. Garbage throughout the property!
Three day visit with pet friendly option. Close to area we visited. Room ok but appliances were in disrepair.. Outside grounds were in need of a major clean-up!

Basic but clean

Location: Walking distance to Reston towncenter. Walking path behind hotel to towncenter.
It was fine for a 2 day stay. I did like the walking, running and biking trail behind the hotel. Basic accommodations but thought it was clean and recently updated.

Overall good value for the price.  Room was very clean and grounds were well maintained.  Several office staff, (Brittany and Fares) were very friendly and helpful.
