For the cost of the room, you would expect a much nicer room. While the room was clean (minus the floor being very slippery in places), the furniture is not comfortable, there are no personal care products (except for two small soap bars), the bed was small and hard as a rock. If you have to take this hotel because it is the only one available be ready for a shower that barely gets your feet wet. On a positive note, the staff was kind.

Hotel staff

Hotel staff Raquel was amazing, she's everything you look for in any professional staff member and a qualified person in the front of the hotel, she was very attentive, she was very compassionate and she was professional I can't say enough good things about this young lady

Dirty hotel and NO breakfast

Pros: The woman at the desk who I addressed my concerns with was very nice.
Cons: Please see above.
The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, but that is no excuse for the level of dirtiness that I encountered. The carpet in my room had not been vacuumed, the toilet paper holder was broken off of the wall and simply placed on a shelf near the bathroom. The toilet paper had then been put on the back of the toilet. The blackout curtains had multiple holes in them, allowing light to pass in to my room. When the heat came on the fan made a loud screeching noise. A free breakfast was advertised. Coffee was out, but they were out of milk and creamer. There was nothing to eat. I addressed my concerns with the hotel staff and asked for a manager to contact me. I still have not heard back from them. I checked out a day early and found someplace else to stay.

steer clear.

worst and most frustrating hotel experience. extremely unhelpful and RUDE front desk staff. Made 0 attempt to correct my issue or do anything to help the situation. it was a young girl up front and I was given attitude the entire time like I was in the wrong for THEIR mistake! I won't waste my time again. don't waste yours.

Excellent room for the price. Personable staff

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
Very convenient to get to, in close proximity to restaurants and shopping. Very clean room, nice that there is a kitchenette so that you do not have to dine out if you don't want to.

great price, great ammenities

Cons: No free Internet
The room we booked with a full kitchen was more than adequte and comfortable for our stay. It was conveninet for our location, the price was great and we were able to prepare some nice meals in our room, as well as having good options to eat out if we chose. The satff at check in were friendly and professional. We have no reservation recommending this hotel to others.

Great place to stay

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet, accepts pets
Travel to Richmond often and I always stay here. Rooms are large and comfy, hotel is always quite, a few good places to eat near by (car required)

Value for Money

Cons: No free Internet
It was a wonderful experience for me at the hotel. I and my wife are on our way to NY for the US open. Was there for a day and the stay is wonderful. They offer wireless internet, room is clean and good kitchen area. They offered breakfast with muffins, coffee and fruits. The staff are cooperative and made our stay pleasant one. I may probably stay there if I am going to Washington DC.
