It looks like a small place. But the manager was so good to me.. I have MS and booked a room that didn't take dogs. She was so nice and understanding she gave me a big room 😊 and understood my limits what I couldn't do..

Lowest cost in Ridgecrest--for a reason
Pros:Price and central location.
Cons:Improved wi-fi, coffee either in the room or in the lobby.
Location:Be sure to check out the Maturango Museum, Randsburg, Trona and "Fish Rocks!" Buy 25 lbs of carrots and feed the wild horses and burros at the BLM.
The Budget Inn provides a very small room and bath and, if that's all you need for a night, then this is a good option. We stayed for three, though, and over that length of time its shortcomings become more apparent. If you need a cup of coffee when you awaken, you will need to walk to a cafe, because there is none to be had on-site. If you want rudimentary wi-fi speed, you will not find it here. The towels are tissue-thin, the bed covering shows signs of previous cigarette burns (although the room itself did NOT smell of cigarettes, and that's important to us), and we were provided with one 3/4 full roll of toilet tissue. It seemed that the owner/manager didn't appreciate being awakened at 8:00 a.m. to be asked not to provide service to our room, but had we been provided with a "Do Not Disturb" sign we could have, well, not disturbed HER. Again--this may all come across more negative than intended; a one-night stay might have yielded a more positive review. But after three nights in this cinderblock cell, we were motivated to move on.
