Upscale Motel/Hostel
Pros:Location is nice as it is in the middle of town.
Cons:The things mentioned above.
Location:Nice restaurants nearby.
The listing on Travelocity says they have self service complimentary parking, but they do not have parking for guests. I had to walk like 3-4 blocks to get to hotel in order to check in and then, go back and get bags to my car and return. The wifi is of poor quality in the room, if you get signal, which I did not have. The iron and iron board are not in the room, you have to ask for it. There is no desk in the room, if you are on business, you can't work from the room. There is no staff overnight. When I left this morning, there was nobody to whom return your key and do check out.

Thank you for taking the time to write your review. We take reviews seriously and as a result of your comments, we called in an expert for Wifi and have added in room boosters. Concrete walls can be a challenge for the Wifi to penetrate! We keep the irons, ironing boards and hairdryers at the front desk, as well as beach towels, so as not to clutter the rooms. You asked for the iron and board and we were happy to supply them. All the rooms have a folding table and chair. The table doesn't look like a traditional desk, i.e., no brown wood, but it serves the function. We regret you had such difficulty with parking, and like any town center though, parking can be a challenge as none of the businesses in the plaza have space for dedicated parking. We use the public parking that is safe and close, just across and behind the Plaza. In Puerto Rico the term "motel" has a particular and very specific meaning. Qué Chévere is not a motel. We are, however, officially endorsed by the Tourism Company of Puerto Rico as a “Posada.” Only four such hotels have achieved this mark of the highest quality from the government. Posadas are small hotels located in the hearts of a traditional urban centers and their mission is to introduce to visitors to the heart and culture of the town. We hope you will return and give us another try when you next find yourself in Rincon.
