    Love It
One of the most romantic places to visit in Italy... Cinque Terre (5 villages) are so beautiful!... Stay here if you are in Manarola... to get to hotel from train station a bit of a challenge because you need to walk uphill with your luggages... but u can request for help from them before you check in... The view from the room is awesome!... Service provided by the owner is superb... breakfast was wonderful... will come again in the future for hiking

Not for the unfit...the accommodation is a hard walk up a steep hill from the train station, and going up and down to and from town can be hard work. We enjoyed a warm reception, fantastic breakfast and a well appointed room. We had the sea view room and the sunset was beautiful. When we had to leave early, the owner packed a sumptuous breakfast to take with us. Manarola is an aesthetically pleasing town. We went on a five hour walk to neighbouring towns. Other than that, there is little to do there in November. Many of the shops are closed or close early, and you can get caught out with no dinner. The shop owners don’t seem to like tourists, and will ignore you to chat with locals, but they are happy to grab tourist dollars. Restaurant staff are pleasant though. No “cheap eats” in town. Many tour groups by day, but they leave by late afternoon and the town is quiet. It’s a very safe place off season and I had no fear of walking around in the dark.

The front desk was awesome. Both people I met there were incredibly helpful and kind. Breakfast was very good. Had an assortment of pastries, cheeses, meats, and eggs as well as coffee/juice/water/tea. We were in the panorama room and the view was spectacular. We ended up sharing a bottle of wine on the balcony and just relaxing up there. Overlooked the ocean and the colorful buildings. Close to a couple restaurants and about a two blocks distance uphill wall from the train station (took us approximately 5 minutes but may be of concern if you have bad knees). The bed was comfortable. However, my only cons would be that the window treatments were all sheer white curtains which made privacy a bit of an issue. Additionally, there is a bell tower across the street that rang I believe on the hour from 7 AM to about 9 PM which was a tad annoying but overall not a big deal considering it wasn't interrupting our sleep. They have a little rooftop terrace for guests which was very neat!
