When we checked in the First Room had a A/C unit in maintenance, moved to another room in which the sink drained onto the bathroom floor, the third room had a metal bar sticking out 6 inches from under the bed which cut our legs!!! did not give us any reduced charges or anything in compensation for the troubles or conditions...

Weekend Getaway

Pros: Close to everything we were in town for.
Cons: The amount of noise heard from the hall in the rooms.
Location: Carowinds was right across the street and Cabelas is right next door
Nice hotel. Next to Cabelas. The only thing was when people were in the hallway they were loud. Had kids running around in the hallway hollering and slamming doors until 2:00 a.m.

The Hotel was perfect location to Carowinds

Pros: The breakfast was very good. The pool was clean and area nice.
Cons: The Hotel could use a renovation. New carpet throughout.
Location: Wendy's nearby and QT. Carowinds right across the street!
The staff were amazing! My daughter hurt her face in the pool and the staff were very helpful through out our stay. Everyone was very helpful with directions to area shopping and stores.

Not so nice

Did not like the beds atl. Shower rod was held up with duct tape. Drawer handily was broke. Bathroom was real small. Will not go back.

Would not go back

Pros: The pool and breakfast
Very disappointing. On our arrival, we noticed the safe would not open, the toilet needed to be flushed three times. They were also doing repairs on our floor, and the smell was terrible. We where there for 3 days and nothing was fixed. We reminded them on numerous occasions.

Nice rooms

staff was pretty great! The only problem we had was with a maid whom didn't respect our "do not disturb" sign and cleaned our room, but DIDN'T shut the door all the way; so we had an unlocked door for who knows how long. we told the manager and he was very upset. Luckily nothing was stolen so it was all good. The beds and pillows were nice. Getting in and out of the hotel was a bit annoying, but overall we enjoyed our stay and the park. the pool was comfortable and clean, which I appreciate. Good stay.
