Friendly staff at check in is the only positive thing about this property. Room, sheets, drapes, carpet smelled of Fabreeze cleaner. A terrible long lasting smell as if the cleaners spinkle it with each cleaning. Room is the noisiest ever slept in. You could hear the outside noise as if you were sitting in traffic. You could hear the inside shower running from the floor above. Bed had a massive dip in the middle. Sunk to the middle every time I rolled over. Air conditioner had to be checked as initially at check in wasn’t running.

We picked it because it is right next to the main train station. Outside does not look like much, but it was a great value. Rooms were big by European Standards and Modern. Staff was amazing. The Breakfast was a great deal for 5 euro's and the (dining manager) Christina was GREAT. Located in the heart of the city, close to the historic district. Would stay here again... Especially for the price....

Trendy decor falls flat

Pros: The best thing is the location: 150 yards from the train (Termini) and two blocks from Babbo's, which is an excellent ristorante.
The intention is a minimalist look in both the lobby and the rooms. The lobby is unwelcoming, cold, and sterile. In an effort to make the small room seem less like a cell there are very small, very mod chairs (2) that are very uncomfortable. The bed frame is a curvy white structure that looks nifty but the legs extend well beyond the mattress: good place to stub your toes. There is a cutesy lighting feature that allows one to "select the color of your dreams" by altering the mood lighting from blue to red to other hues. By fare the worst feature is the bathroom. It is very compact, but tries to give the appearance of a full kit. However the tub and the sink are right next to each other. This is not a problem unless one showers rather than soaks: there is no provision for a shower curtain. Water everywhere, including the now slippery floor, the towel rack, and the sodden box of facial tissue.
