Dear Mrs. Gina, Thank you for your review. We apologize for the inconvenience and regret to read that you did not have a good stay in our Relais. We would like to clarify that the photos on our site represent 100% our rooms but, we have different room categories and therefore, different room sizes that vary from the 14 sqm of the Economy Rooms to the 45 sqm of the Family Suite. If we had known about your discontent we could have solved it while you were still here. Regarding the location of the Relais, we are proudly placed in a hisctoric building in Trastevere neighborhood, one of the most vibrat and active in the city. Knowing this we have soundproofed the windows of all the rooms that face the main street but even with that, you may hear some noise. Let’s tell the facts of your booking and stay in their exact order to bring some accuracy and truth that were missed in your review: - You booked (after spending “alot of time looking for the right hotel in Rome”) a double superior room in our Relais; - You contacted us because you were worried about the ‘small lift’ you read about in some reviews (the lift capacity is for two persons), saying you were aware of the peculiarities of an historical building but you needed to make sure you had a room on ground floor because you are claustrophobic; - You were originally intended to be in a room on first floor so we moved your reservation to a superior room on ground floor with garden view and you replied thanking us; - When you came here you were not satisfied with the room and you addressed this to our reception staff, that asked you what was it in specifically that you did not like so we could help you (was it the size? Or the position? The bathroom?) and you replied you just didn’t like it because it was not the room you saw on pictures; - Promptly the receptionist showed you the website where you booked and looked for the pictures of “Superior double room”, where (OF COURSE) there were the pictures of all 4 our superior rooms, including yours...did you miss it? - You shrudded your shoulders and left the reception saying you were disappointed. - From that moment on, for all your stay, you did not reply to our Staff’s “goodmornings” or “hallo”, you left doors open wherever you passed by, you showed up for breakfast at 10:25 knowing that our breakfast is served until 10:00 and you told our breakfast Staff that gracefully waited for you that the buffet was “poor” despite they did their best offering croissants, bread, cold cuts cheeses bred, cake fresh fruits ecc that you called.... left overs???
