Located in Rome's Monti neighborhood, Relais Terme di Tito is in the city center and near a metro station. Via del Corso and Via Veneto are worth checking out if shopping is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's popular attractions can visit Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. Looking to enjoy an event or a game? See what's going on at Stadio Olimpico or PalaLottomatica. Our guests appreciate the guest house's location for the sightseeing. It's also convenient to public transportation: Colosseo Station is 3 minutes by foot and Cavour Station is 5 minutes.
This "hotel" is on the 7th floor of the property. The elevator is extremely small and rickety. Barely fits one person with luggage or two people with no luggage. Felt as though the elevator would fall apart any time. Climbing stairs all the way up gets old fast. We were asked to pay an additional 20 euros to check-in between 6pm-8pm. Had no choice but to pay. Mattress was small for two people and uncomfortable. The room is dated and felt grimy. The shower drain was clogged so the water pooled all over. Had to wait for the water to drain off completely before continuing the shower. They ration out toilet paper one roll at a time. Internet connection is abysmal. It was cutting off every few seconds and took forever to reconnect. Internet speed was slow and constantly buffering. The day we were leaving, there was were guys just outside our window removing scaffolding which made a LOT of noise. Eventually we gave up and got out of bed. This "hotel" was not a relaxing experience. The only redeeming quality is its location. It is located across from Colosseum. I would not recommend this place to anyone as Rome has decent subway train system so getting to any major attractions is just a short ride or walk away. Avoid this dump at all costs. Save your money and book elsewhere.
