This is an unique experience on the west tamar river. We had a spa room. Couldn't fault it. A short walk to Rosevears hotel & Bakery. Good food and good service. So relaxing

Was just looking for a beautiful and quiet and peaceful place to spend New Year’s Eve with a restaurant. The property was lovely. The room was clean and up-to-date with everything I needed and a lovely view and the restaurant had good food and an attentive, great staff.

Super location
The rooms are top-notch. Modern, comfortable and clean. Spacious. The hotel/pub offers a good public bar with seating if you want to eat. Wide range of beers, wines and spirits. Restaurant has good views with standard fare. I would term the food as "good RSL".

We had a beautiful view of the river and hills. Be advised that the hotel is across a small road from the river and not on the river side. Also that the best view units are UP the hillside so be prepared for inclines and/or steps if that is an issue. Otherwise it is a nice hotel with comfortable beds and pretty views in the upper units. The restaurant was very good also. We enjoyed our stay of one night.
