We liked how it was close to where we were going. It is a cute place and it felt like home but somewhere else. This place is a wonderful place to go.

Great for a worry-less stay

Pros: It had all the kitchen conveniences and the location was perfect.
This was a cozy place to stay at. The staff was friendly and the property looked like they kept it up. Unfortunately I was not able to try out the indoor pool nor the very small hot tub that was by the office. What surprised me was that the condo was equipped with pots, pans, dishes, dishwasher, ice trays, can opener, blender, large coffee maker, two tvs (older version tv set was in the bedroom but still had cable), a wood burning fireplace, a broom, a clothes basket and two large closets (one which was located inside the bathroom). They are perfectly located within distance of the "Main Street" of Ruidoso, gas stations and the local Walmart. The only disappointments were that 1. I had requested a king size bed but got a queen size instead, 2. The sofa bed was so old that the middle was almost touching the floor when you sat on it and 3. That the front office is open only till 9pm.

Good price and location but the "goods" stop there

Pros: Price and location
Cons: Note comments above. Interesting that not once was I asked if everything was ok.
It appeared there had been attempts at renovating this older property but they stopped way too soon. Roof overhangs had open holes and many signs of patching attempts. Grounds were not clean but the room was ok... other than some lights did not work and extension cords ran to those that did. The tub had been repaired with off colored brown patches and tiles were cracked on floor and otherwise. The office location was not identified with signage and once inside the counter & work area was extremely cluttered.The pool had a closed sign on the gate for the 3 days I was there. The ice machine is far away from most of the rooms and in a room with a broken down vending machine and other stored items. The laundry room was the gathering place for the noisey employees and had uncovered trash outside the entry most days with birds etc. flocking around the debris.
