Salas de los Infantes is a legendary municipality located in the Arlanza Valley, just 54 km from Burgos. It is part of the beautiful area of ​​the Sierra de la Demanda. The Matanza Festival takes place on the last Sunday of January.
The festival in honor of San Isidro Labrador takes place on May 15, where neighbors gather at the hermitage of San Isidro.
During the days 14,15,16 and August 17 the festivities are celebrated in honor of Our Lady of the Assumption and San Roque. They are the patron festivities of Salas de los Infantes.
