The property was not clean when we showed up. The shower was little and had soap scum in it and also held water on one side of the shower floor. There was cobwebs all along the ceiling in the bathroom and the toilet had rust stains all thru it. The carpets throughout the house was not vacuumed. The dishes that were put in the cabinet was put away dirty. Had we not spent so much money on our stay there or had another place to stay we would’ve left and went somewhere else. I know he’s gonna be upset with me for this review but I want others to be aware.

Nice fall getaway
We really enjoyed our second stay at the cabin. The weather was cold but we were able to keep the cabin warm and comfortable. We loved being so close to our son's house and were able to visit and spend time with them. Robert has made some nice improvements to the cabin. We were able to get internet and use our computers. It was nice to just relax in the evenings. We even got the chance to meet a couple of the neighbors. When we had some problems with the front door, Robert's brother came and made the repairs immediately. We look forward to staying again next spring.

The property manager is new to this and did a great job of communication! The location was great for us. The home needs some TLC, linens etc were all clean/fresh. Home is very old, so just needs some freshening up/updating. His communication was great - lots of details about the area/property and very flexible.

Northern Pike Lodge
We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The yard is beautiful. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. We did not get down to the lake because we spent most of our time with my son and his family who live nearby. The beds were quite comfortable and there was nice bedding and linens. There was cable tv and we appreciated having access to the weather channel. The television was an older tube style so the picture wasn't too clear. The cabin is old and quite quaint. We loved the mish mash antique furniture and pictures. It was obvious that a family enjoyed spending their time at the cabin. The only downfall at the cabin was the hard water but it had a good water heater and good water pressure.
