Parking was very convenient since ut was underground. The front desk was very friendly and they offered me early check in which was very convenient for me and my family. The room was clean and the pool was open so the kids got to swim. Very satisfied with the stay and would go back again.

I was expecting a nicer hotel after I read the online reviews of a remodel. It still appears to be run down. The hallway floors are uneven. The furniture in the lobby was dirty. Our hot water in shower went from warm to cold then scalding hot when someone flushed or showered in another room. Our bathroom light went out and when we called to have it fixed. They came and instead of fixing it both the light and fan then would not work. We had no bathroom light or fan for 2 days while they waited for the part. I then had to ask again to have it fixed. Showering was miserable with no fan. The smaller bed had some sort of plastic covering that made a terrible noise when you moved. We were called at midnight and woken up by the front desk to ask if someone had fallen. We were all asleep! Not sure what was going on there. I did appreciate the beach towels, chairs and the umbrellas. The location was great as was the covered parking. They provided iced water in the lobby what was very refreshing. The price of the hotel was reasonable. The staff was great. They were very responsive to our situation and helped us without complaint! Thank you!

The hotel was beautiful!! Love the detail of the lobby and corridor. Felt very comfortable. They put a lot of thought into comfort for their guest. Our check in was great- we got our room and we’re unpleasantly surprised that we had a room against the freeway, so when I went downstairs to ask about changing rooms: Kendall was very accommodating, sweet and she gave us an upgraded room, balcony, ocean view !! The rooms were great: spacious and clean! Quiet halls - you could just Smell the cleanliness throughout the halls! Great poolside, but in March- the pool was FREEZING but the hot tub was awesome! Lots of shops within walking distance. Will definitely stay there again if we ever need to be in that area again.

Fantastic location

Pros: We liked the atmosphere. How friendly & helpful the staff was. The view!
Cons: The strong smell of cigarettes in a non-smoking area (hallway outside our room) Maybe an automatic air neutralizer?
Location: Perfect location to walk to the shops & restaurants and even the pier/beach.
Loved waking up to the view of the ocean. Perfectly located to walk to all the shops and restaurants. Very friendly staff. The hotel maids were very nice and our room was always well stocked and perfectly clean. We literally didn't want to leave this hotel. We will not be staying at any other hotel when we go back to San Clemente.

Nice hotel close to town and Starbucks

Pros: The pool and spa were clean. The cleaning staff was very pleasant.
Cons: The fitness room equipment was run down.The equipment should be repaired if not updated or removed and not advertised. The restaurant needs improvment
The hotel was nice. The staff at the front desk seemed distracted or disinterested for the most part. The restaurant was very disappointing, from the staff to the food. I would recommend the hotel but would avoid the restaurant.

Quiet, nice and close to the beach

It was a great trip and we really enjoy San Clemente. Would love to go back. This was our family vacation and both our kids enjoy their stay.

Does the job, nothing more.

Pros: Close restaurants
Upgraded to a 'beach facing' apartment to find we were on ground floor, no views and a few meters from the busy street. Otherwise, it was basic room/hotel that was fine for what we needed. Nothing special though.
