We certainly understand that any unexpected fees can be an inconvenience, so we do our very best to make sure that all information is clear. All our fees are always disclosed, so it is strange that any particular charge came as a surprise to you. Kindly note that due to limited parking in this area, mostly all hotels do charge a parking fee. Our parking fee is just 17.99, which is much lower than other hotels in the San Francisco and SFO area that charge up to 75 per day with no in and out privileges. As for the service fee, this charge has been implemented so that the hotel can retain services and amenities that it provided pre-pandemic. As many returning customers may have noticed, the hotel's rates have decreased by more than fifty percent since the onset of the pandemic. Rather than eliminate hotel amenities altogether and reduce hotel staff, we have chosen to charge a fee that is fully disclosed at the time of booking to help pay for the retention of both amenities and service. We regret any disappointment with the expectation of coffee in the reception lobby, but we do provide tea bags and Keurig coffee in the guest rooms. As for the facility, we know our building is old, but we work tirelessly to ensure quality standards are upheld for our guests.
