This was an incredibly disappointing stay. This hotel fronts as old world elegance and five star sophistication. Staff is arrogant and rude, beds are lumpy and incredibly uncomfortable, linens feel like slick plastic and both of our queen size beds were short-sheeted. Not one of the four of us had a decent nights sleep. We had very loud neighbors - not the hotels fault - but we could hear the people in the next rooms next to us and across the hall as if they were sitting in our room. Rooms need upgrading - peeling paint and wallpaper and lack of overall attention felt more like we were in a forgotten haunted hotel with only glimpses of its past glory years. Couldn’t wait to get out of there.

The hotel was not ready to open this past weekend. They didn’t have enough doormen, Top of the Mark was closed, and NO ROOM SERVICE. You could order grab and go food next to lobby, but you can’t order ahead, you must pick up your own food, and you can’t charge the food to your room. No minibar, no refrigerators, no jacuzzi, no ice above the 11th floor. Very disappointing for my birthday weekend in a Junior Suite on the 17th floor.

We are sorry we didn't meet your expectations. We are adjusting as we progress in the month due to unpredictability of occupancy as we opened. This is not what we known for as we pride ourselves in giving a wonderful experience to our guests.
