Pros: - Well located - Walkable proximity to dining and the beach - Recently remodeled Cons: - Check in: Hotel staff unable to differentiate between the two rooms I booked for myself and a friend. I added her name to reservation that was for her room (we stayed different number of nights so it was clear there was a difference) and then proceeded to check her into my room. - Parking: They charged my family’s valet parking to her room and for more nights than I had my car there (I moved my car b/c the cost was unexpected and over priced). - House keeping: requested foam pillows with reservation and got feather pillows; they didn’t service our room while we were out from 10-330 and then asked if we wanted service only when my husband went to go check out the restaurant menu. Would be nice if they have a service elevator because the house keeping staff constantly were using the guest elevators which increased elevator traffic. Wouldn’t stay here again with so many other better solid choices - Beds: not for anyone who likes anything more than a soft bed or appreciates a supportive pillow - Bathroom: no bath tubs so was unable to bath my young child during the trip; personal preference but I enjoy an enclosed shower which they did not have - Fridge: if you want to use the fridge, make sure it’s plugged in - Noise: hotel is across from a loud bar so if you like quiet, I don’t recommend a room adjacent to Cypress Overall the hotel is clean

Valet is kind of pricey considering there aren’t a ton of other parking options. Parking on the street isn’t super safe since it’s right downtown where there is high traffic and the town bar. So we chose the valet parking, which was nice, just wished it was a little cheaper. But otherwise we loved the hotel and loved our stay. The rooftop bar was awesome. Great view, great drinks and food. We overall had a great stay
