The property was great, they are doing remodeling but that didn’t affect the atmosphere. The breakfast buffet was fantastic and the folks running it were really friendly and helpful. The front staff was always friendly and willing to answer any questions I had. We also interacted with the parking lot security guys and they were all so helpful as well. I would definitely stay here if I go back.

Only problem was that breakfast was NOT included even though the reservation said so. They did not honored it! I had to pay out of pocket.

Don't go here

I got a room with two beds when I booked the trip. Once I arrived to the hotel only one bed was provided staring they were completely booked.

Highly recommend

Good location , restaurants,stores , I did not use the hotel restaurant to expensive but you can find variety within walking distance , friendly staff , I will stay again next time. Beach is only 30 min drive El Tunco ,La libertad El Zunzal ,and costa del sol one hour drive.

Brief visit and very Pleased with my hotel choice:

Pros: Friendly & Professional Staff, Safety, excellent location
Cons: Backyard area, perhaps more appealing (natural flowers, etc)
Location: Safe location, literally within walking distance to well know franchise restaurants and home made cuisine, No need to drive
Was in San Salvador for a brief visit and selected the Courtyard Marriott hotel in San Salvador, couldn't be more pleased with my selection, friendly AND VERY PROFESSIONAL staff, ready to help at every turn, from ice to directions to locations. Safety is also a plus, the Marriott is located in a very safe area of San Salvador, perfect for visitors like myself who was born there but can't find his way around anymore. Good restaurants within walking distance (literally just yards away, well known franchise restaurants and home made cuisine as well. I am a frequent traveler and the staff of the Marriott in San Salvador really got an A +. Breakfast buffet NOT TO BE MISSED! just superb. Pleased all around.
