There was trash in the bathroom trash can when we arrived at our room. When I told the front desk about it, he asked me if I wanted a bag to change it. He wanted me to change someone else’s trash in a room we just checked into??!! I told him absolutely not, that’s your responsibility. They never came all afternoon and evening to take care of it, so we did. We also never had wifi while in our room for 2 days. We could get Wi-Fi on the stairs up to our room but as soon as we entered our room, it shut off. We also told the front desk about it and he told me to contact their internet provider about it. Again, not my responsibility. I’m a guest paying to stay at your hotel that offers free Wi-Fi and we never had it. There was no ice bucket in our room. We had to go back to the front desk, again, and it took them about 10 minutes to locate a bucket. Their wasn’t any kind of a liner with it. He seemed surprised that I asked for a liner for the ice bucket. I don’t know where you pulled that bucket from. It didn’t have a lid. This is the first hotel/motel that I’ve stayed at that didn’t have an ice bucket in the room and when he found one, he didn’t have a liner for it and seemed surprised when I asked for one. Oh, and we also were locked out of our room upon returning one evening so we had to go down to the office, again, for them to rekey our card! Carpet had debris and a dead bug by the bed. Fridge was a bit dirty as well as the microwave. I will say it was quiet. Shower was hot.

Our room was ready on time (early actually), we received a ground floor room as requested. Beds and bedding were extremely comfortable. The only thing we didn’t like were the people who sat outside our room and smoked from 8pm until past midnight and then again at 8am! Not the hotels doing but very rude of the people smoking. The staff was pleasant and Jose at the front desk was great and very helpful.

When we got to our room, first impressions were great. Sliding door with access to courtyard, comfortable beds, easy parking, two luggage racks, ceiling fan, refrigerator. But the details quickly became disappointing. The floors were not swept before or during our stay (no carpet like the photos). The room description seemed to highlight blackout curtains as an amenity, but there were shutters that let in quite a bit of light (sleeping in was not possible). Toiletries were in wall dispensers, which were empty. The toilet wouldn't flush due to a pre-existing obstruction, and the office brought a plunger but left it to us to spend 24 hours trying to clear the obstruction. One bed had 3 pillows, while the other had 4. No air conditioning. The fridge seal was warped so the fridge wasn't cold. Overall, I wouldn't tell someone not to stay here, but I will choose a different property on my next visit.
