When we got to our room, the AC was off (it was 97°) outside. We turned on the air to high cold. It blew cold air for about 5 minutes then only blew luke warm air. After letting it run for about 30 minutes there wasn't a change in room temp so we called the front desk. Pat, at the front desk, said she was sending maintenance up. 20 more minutes and still no temp change or maintenance man. I went down to the front desk and she said the maintenance guy said he wouldn't be back for a couple hours (it was 4pm on a Saturday) and that he didn't have the parts to fix the AC. Pat never called to update us on this, just let us sit in the room waiting. If I wouldn't have come down to question it, we would have never been told. I asked for her to transfer us to a different room. She hesistated and said she needed permission from her manager, who wasn't there. I demanded she call her and get permission. She did and transferred us to a different room. Once transferred, we were ok.
