My son and I arrived late in the evening after a long day of fishing on Lake Erie. We were both exhausted, but had many pieces of gear to haul to our room. When I asked the desk clerk if I could use a luggage cart, since none were apparently available, he said if you let me help these folks, I’ll see if I can find one. After helping three others, he searched all three floors and found none. Apparently, they were all in occupants’ rooms. That meant we had a haul everything up to the second floor by hand. It was a bad experience, compounded by the lateness of the night and the tiredness of the day! The least the hotel can do is buy a couple of more luggage carts.

The pillows had a sour smell, which made it difficult to feel comfortable. The floor had not been vacuumed prior to our stay. Staff was exceptional and very friendly.
