The place was clean, but very noisy late hours of the night into 6-7am(a loud banging noise).. my wife couldn’t even sleep, it was unfortunate because the hotel is great Looking and clean.

While the property was very nice, not much was included in the cost of our stay as it usually is in most other hotels (ie. breakfast, wifi/internet, etc.). Additionally, the faux wood linoleum flooring in our room (#308) was bubbling everywhere. Also, the pool was inaccessible due to some work that was being done on it. We were notified of this via email a day ahead of time, but we didn't want to change our reservation at that point. All in all, a LOT to pay for much less than where we stayed the night before in San Luis Obispo.

great hotel

Although the check in time for the hotel was 4pm we arrived a bit early, 1:30pm, they did have a room available for us. We were able to check in early, our room was great and even though the hotel seemed to be towards the end of a remodel, everything was great. We had dinner that night in the lounge/bar area. My wife had rib eye steak and I had what was called street alley tacos. The food was great. The next morning we had the buffet breakfast which we had purchased along with our room, it was also wonderful. The staff at the hotel were all very friendly and courteous. My wife said that this was the best place we had ever stayed at. I would recommend this to anyone and it will be where we stay the next time we go to this location. 5 stars
