Nice no frills hotel for a good price. Good location. The room was clean and comfortable, the tub was a little dingy. Other than the tub i have zero complaints.

For being an older hotel, with less than 4-stars, very surprisingly pleasant. I would come back.

The owner was annoyed when I arrived after 10 p.m. He had emailed me in advance to inquire about my ETA & I replied so I thought I had that covered. Seriously, if someone is an innkeeper he/she should expect this. The property was simple & basic, but also spotlessly clean. The price was very jacked up due to the Ironman Triathalon in town, but that's normal supply & demand, & I was probably lucky to even find a place.

I only Rated amenities ok because basically it’s a picnic table on the central lawn. But overall the facility is clean, comfortable and the staff is kind and personable. I was There with my sisters, we had four rooms, for our middle sisters funeral, and the manager was kind and thoughtful! I would Stay again most definitely!!

Reasonably priced and can stay just one night

Pros: So clean, very good beds and pillows, nice people.
Cons: Continental breakfast is just so so.
Location: On Mendocino Ave, near DayTripping bus pickup.
Very serviceable and very clean motel, reasonably priced, and best of all, one of the few places in the area that doesn't require a two night stay on a weekend! Terrific place to stay at the beginning of a DayTripping tour.

A good find.

Friendly and fast check-in. Room was modest but neat as a pin. Bed was comfortable and in good condition. Standard pillows (4) with clean and fresh-smelling sheets. It's nice to have a clean-smelling room ( unlike some lodgings that soak the rooms in air freshener .) Very clean bathroom and vanity - thank you to the cleaning staff. The only item I wish they had was a coffee maker. Room included microwave, mini-fridge, iron, ironing board, HD-TV (but no wifi that I was aware of, anyway) shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and shower cap. Plently of bright white towels, alarm clock and lots of lights, oh, and ice-bucket and wrapped cups, too. My room was carpeted, had a table and chair, a desk and chair, a dresser/tv-stand, luggage stand, two night tables and the bed, also had in-room air conditioner. Nice closet space with hangers. Pretty much everything you need. Check out was a breeze. The area was pleasantly quiet. This lodging appears to be rated as a "2-star" hotel, but so is the well-known motel chain in this area and North Bay Inn is AT LEAST a half star better. I prefer to stay here than the so-called 3-star hotels. The price is competetive. No fancy amenities like a gym or room service or banquet halls; just a clean, safe decent and comfortable place to stay. Recommended.

Cute 20-room old school motor hotel.

This hotel had been redone nicely and was sparkling clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy but as a female traveling alone I felt safe. Each room had a fridge, microwave and lots of channels on the TV. I'd definitely go back and stay. Charming place.
