Don’t look too closely. In the pictures and with a casual glance in person this seems like a great place, especially after spending two weeks in hostels. But many of those are actually better maintained. We were placed in a room that was retrofitted to be handicap friendly although we have no need for that and I am doubtful that was the only option available. The sliding shower door was reinstalled incorrectly, so it wasn’t aligned properly and wobbled when we slid it - also the pencil markings and measurements are still showing from whenever the shower head was installed. The main bathroom door catches on the ceiling and since it is glass, I was constantly afraid it would break. The handle on one of the sinks fell off when I turned it, and the handles to the windows were sitting in a desk drawer. The food was fine although often either over/under cooked, or just cold. The hotel staff was friendly and the beds were comfortable so that is a plus, although unfortunately there was a techno festival the weekend we were there so we were forced to listen to electronica music for hours because the windows weren’t soundproof, nor are the walls because we could hear the goings on in our surrounding rooms during the entirety of our stay.
