Do not believe the reviews. This hotel is terrible. When I first checked in I thought it was strange they wanted me to pay for the full amount upfront. Upon entering my room. It was dingy and smelled like body odor. After a long flight the first thing I wanted to do was take a shower, to my dismay there was zero hot water and I could only splash water on me using my hand because it was so cold. I was to tired to complain. So I tried to sleep. The bed itself was hard and the one sheet provided was paper thin I had to sleep in my hoody to feel comfortable. The next day I asked to switch rooms because of the shower and again only cold water. I then decided to go to the jacuzzi on the roof to feel warm water and scrub myself, when I tried to enter the water was freezing also. I pushed buttons on the side of the jacuzzi and went back down stairs to ask how to turn the hot water on. I was informed there is only one temperature. So basically the jacuzzi was just a over sized bathtub in the sun. It was still warmer than my shower so I decided to get in. As soon as I got into the jacuzzi (bathtub) it started raining. So I exited, well there are no rubber mats to step out on and the wood surrounding the (bathtub) was slick my feet slipped directly from me and I landed on my back causing serious pain. The main manager is very rude and any time I would ask you a question she would huff and seem bothered, I wish I could leave a longer review but i just ran out of characters beware!

Hi Mr. Vanbibber. I see that you arrived at our hotel on February 9 2020 with a reservation until February 15, 2020 (6 Nights) made through Travelocity. I also see in your reservation history at Hotel Vicentina that on February 15, 2020 you made a new direct reservation with us from February 15, 2020 to February 19, 2020 (4 Nights), you extended your stay because after those 6 nights you were satisfied with our service and We appreciate that decision. I also see in the Reservation history that you decide to checkout on February 17, 2020. You gets mad with our staff in the Lobby because the money for the two remaining nights is not returned to you. Remember that at the time of Check in, you sign our policies where it says that the establishment does not return money if it is not notified within 48 hours. In this case it didn't happen that way. We are very sorry that a client who has enjoyed his stay at our hotel come here with no reason and put this type of comment just because it was not fulfilled in something that goes against our policies.. You can see all our comments after the stay and I assure you that none match your description of this hotel. We are sorry for the bad time you may have had at the time of check out but I ask that for the next stay at our hotel or any other hotel please be more responsible in your comment. God Bless

The price that i was charged for this hotel was very reasonable considering the location. The hotel is located 1 to 2 streets away from the beach. The air condition works very well and the manager was very accommodating. I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a very reasonably priced hotel, that is clean, secure and located right by the beach

Never got to check in to the hotel, took a cab from airport ,taxi could not find addres the addres of hotel lead us to hamaca beach hotel locals in neighborhood don't know the hotel called the hotel local number no answer I mean horrible.

Dear guest, we are sorry that you have been through this inconvenience this has happened on several occasions with other customers, taxi drivers pick them up and take them to another hotel where they can get commissions, for this reason the hotel offers transportation service for an additional cost to avoid this kind of inconvenience. We do apologize for what happened.
