"we made a quick trip to Sarasota to visit a niece and her new husband. We chose this property because we like independent , charming boutique properties and this hotel checked all the boxes. Newly renovated, retro , comfortable with a great Tiki Bar. We highly recommend this property and we will be back!"

"This is a nice cozy old Florida resort (someone said 70 years old) with a great location on the beach. Services we’re good and the staff very helpful and friendly. The food at the restaurant was excellent. Considering that hurricane Idalla had passed a week before our stay, with storm surge reaching their kitchen, it was impressive that they were back and running after a few days. Our guest room was small and modest but comfortable, but you don’t go to a beach resort to stay in your room. Nearby St. Armand circle has a good selection of shops and restaurants (we recommend the Crab and Fin). Overall it was perfect for our anniversary weekend getaway. We would go back."
