Casa Madrona Hotel & Spa is located near the bay and in a walkable area with good shopping. Tiburon Ferry and Ferry Building are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Presidio of San Francisco and Muir Woods National Monument. Aquarium of the Bay and Pier 39 are not to be missed.
Such a lovely place! Just wish we'd had even more time to hang around Casa Madrona as it's a beautiful and well appointed hotel. We'd definitely return.
Our room wasnt cleaned in four days (albeit Thanksgiving) and we had to get our own towels. They neglected to end an email confirmation of our second room, and charged us a full rooms stay for early cancellation even though we only had to leave a day early because of the weather and our flight cancelled. I asked to speak to a manager but she never came down only spoke to the reception desk associate on the phone.
We were very excited to stay here but honestly I was very let down by all of the staff. I would describe the staff as people who have a job that they hate. When we checked out she didn’t ask how our stay was. The bell boy outside instead of helping with out bags decided to look the other way (we were the only ones outside). He went in his little room as I guess it was too cold for him to stand outside. He saw two girls with large bags and went inside. Even entering and exiting the hotel for dinner we were not treated warmly. I would not return to this hotel.
Great views and location. Excellent service- very nice property.
