There is nothing the property can do about this but the nearby paper mill caused the air to be filled with the stench of their process. It could be smelled inside the building as well but thank goodness the room itself did not stink of the paper mill. It is a very nice hotel and property is well maintain. Except for the smell of the air, I would stay here again.

Very nice area. Room needs maintenance…toilet didn’t flush well, sewer was overflowing outdoors, lots of basic general updates and maintenance. Cost was almost $200 per night but room wasn’t that great. Pool area and breakfast area nice. Grounds were mowed and manicured. Lobby was clean with fresh coffee all day. Staff was very courteous and friendly.

Nice hotel close to Shiloh National Battlefield

Pros: Location, new rooms, breakfast was fine.
Cons: I felt the price was a little bit higher than other hotels of the same standard. Rooms are not large.
Location: This hotel is close to the Shiloh Battlefield National Park, Corinth Mississippi, and Tupelo Mississippi. There is a nearby golfcourse and a lake.
A nice hotel, but cost is higher than other equivalent mid-level hotels. It is a newer hotel and service was professional and friendly.

Pros: newer amenities; clean and comfortable

Location: Pickwick Lake: go fishing and boating, water skiing, a pretty good size golf course and not alot of places to go if you want to go out and enjoy the n
It wasn't bad; although our room was in the back the view wasn't all that great. Lots of woods with a small view of the water. Overall it was a very pleasant experience, I would stay there again.

Hampton inn

The hotel was just fine, just didn't have a non smoking room available, so I had to settle for a smoking room and it smelled to high heaven. Yuck!!! Not the fault of the hotel however. I should have booked sooner.

Would Stay Here Again

I stayed at this hotel for approximately one month while in town on business. The rooms are excellent. The bed is sooooo comfortable, nice sheets and comforter and plenty of pillows. Nice big TV and nice air conditioning. The internet; however, was VERY slow! The location is very safe and secure. The staff could be a little more attentive. I had mail come and even with a DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door, housekeeping woke me up to give it to me instead of leaving it at the desk and phoning my room. The young lady who was always there to tend to the breakfast was great--she was always friendly and on top of things. This hotel does not have laundry facilities or dry cleaning service--which is not good if you are staying for an extended period of time. Also there is no fitness center. Overall, I love staying at any Hampton Inn and this location was no different. Safe, Clean, Comfortable--I definitely recommend it.

Nice but too close to manufacturers

Staff is wonderful, very friendly, warm. It was late when we arrived and the clerk called down the street to a local restaurant to let them know we were on our way. If you stay here, you have to sit in the chairs across from the desk--you won't want to get up again! Room was quiet and dark. Varied continental breakfast was good. \n\nDownside-there is a mill a few miles down the road and I woke up several times during the night because the smell permeates the rooms. While this is not the hotel's fault, it is a consideration. Overall, this is a great place.
