All staff were wonderful and welcoming! The rooftop is the crowning jewel of this hotel! While off the beaten path, we enjoyed the walk to and from the historic area and River Street -- felt relatively safe walking at night with two women...the riverwalk was well lit. One downside...the beds and pillows could have been a bit more luxe.

Loved our stay at the Thompson Savannah. The ambiance of the hotel is fanttastic. The room was beautiful, we had a rivew view thet did not dissapoint. The bed was comfortable, and the shower lovely! Everyone was friendly and the attention excellent.

The room was excellent. Everything you could think of or need. I was very late checking in and the hotel called me to check whar was going on. I have never had a hotel contact me like that. I appreciated it.

Loved the property. Can see the potential once the construction is complete. Visited in March. Weather was rainy. We were the only ones walking to East River Street. Took about 5 to 10 minutes. It was lights in the area but they weren't on. Seems like the popular area of the street was 20 minutes away. Still enjoyed it.

For this to be a NEW property there were too many problems. Lights not working, HVAC issues, toilet running, beds were not comfortable and the food is highly over priced. We will not return and am disappointed that we wasted our anniversary weekend there.
