Words escape me as I struggle to describe the raw beauty of this place! You could not ask for a more peaceful and serene setting for your vacation. The view of the Caribbean Sea is spectacular and the house is charming and comfortable. My favorite thing to do was to sit on the diving board and watch the water below - we saw tons of fish, sting rays, starfish, and a passing turtle. The sunsets are awe-Inspiring!
The house itself is sunny and bright, and it has everything you need for a terrific stay - well-stocked kitchen, plenty of linens, a library of books and CDs, comfortable furniture. As others have stated, the steps are a little tricky but fine for older kids or adults with no mobility issues. The back veranda is fantastic and we spent a ton of time there. The best thing is the location - it is secluded but yet still convenient to a grocery store and Governors Harbour. Plus, being in the middle of the island makes it easy to travel north to see the glass window bridge, queens baths, (both are must-sees in my opinion), and the drive through James Cistern is lovely. Or you can drive south to see the ocean hole in Rock Sound (also cool). We stopped at a seaside fish market in Tarpum Bay and bought two of the most beautiful fresh lobster tails you have ever seen! Mimi is a gracious and responsive host, and she has literally thought of everything to make your stay easy. Overall, we had a terrific time staying at 2 sisters house, and I would definitely do it again!
