Great stay, will be back
This was a perfect place for us, 2 couples. The host was very kind and accommodating. Check in and check out could not have been easier. We enjoyed the fire pit, playing with the various board games, the gas fire place, and the corn hole. The location is great, you aren’t far at all from downtown highlands and the trails this area has to offer. The house was clean and I was impressed by the interior, the bathrooms were luxurious (heated floors, nice showers, and sinks) and beds were huge and comfortable. This was a fantastic stay especially for the price, hopefully we will be able to come back in the fall!

Romantic Stay
Nothing says 'romance' like a cozy house tucked in the mountains, cold nights, warm fires, cuddly throws, and a whisp of snow! This was our first stay during the winter months, and it may well have been our best visit to the property yet. It was extremely cold both day and night, and the fire pit was something we looked forward to every evening, as well as a fire inside. The house offers every convenience, but the heated bathroom floors may have been our favorite one! We've enjoyed numerous visits at Nestle Inn and have never been disappointed. The only thing that's changed from visit to visit is how much more we look forward to coming back each time. A special 'thank you' to our amazing hosts, Linda and Bill!

Another wonderful visit!
What a fabulous mother daughter getaway for new years! This is our second visit to Nestle Inn and it is such a cozy home to relax in the mountains. Super easy access to Highlands Outpost for the kids and the cinnamon rolls were fabulous once again. Thank you Linda!

Quiet Escape
This place was great! It was beautifully decorated with everything you could possibly need, both inside and outside! It is located down a very quiet, private drive which instantly makes you feel on vacation. The beautiful fire pit was great for relaxing after our hike and walk around the Highlands. The beds were so comfortable - I think we got the best sleep we’ve had in months! Linda was so helpful and quick to respond. We can’t wait to go back!

A 'Must Stay' Destination
My wife and I just returned from our third stay at NestleInn, and we have already confirmed our next reservation! The house is absolutely wonderful. It is extremely well appointed and offers all of the modern comforts and amenities one would expect to find in a property of this caliber. From heated bathroom floors, massive throws, and a kitchen outfitted for a chef, to comfortable lounge furniture (both inside and out), cozy gas firepit, and indoor gas fireplace... NestleInn provides the quintessential mountain experience. We especially look forward to breakfast on the back deck with that early morning cup of coffee to help take the chill out of a crisp fall morning. The covered front deck is absolutely perfect for a romantic dinner or evening cocktail. If you're planning on traveling to the high country, NestleInn is a 'must stay' destination!

Awesome Property
Where to begin. The home is stunning for a VRBO rental property. The pictures are exactly defining the home. The bathrooms have heated floors. There is an abundance of plates, cups, and glasses. The outside area was so nice to have evening drinks. The master bed was firm but comfortable. The linens were above average. In all the years of our travels we have never had a nicer place to stay. Linda is a perfect host. She knows the area and always responded in a short time. This was a 10-10 stay.

Perfect stay!
We loved our time at NestleInn. Linda was so responsive before our trip. She answered all of my questions, and had a super-thorough welcome packet for the house that covered everything we needed to know. Check-in was smooth, and Linda even made sure to leave the lights on for us in case we were late! The house itself is fantastic- we loved the porches (especially the swings and ring game!) and common areas. The kitchen is so well equipped- everything we needed for our meals and desserts was there. We loved the cinnamon rolls Linda left us- we saved them for our last morning and had a quiet breakfast enjoying the house for our last few hours. The location was also perfect- we felt super close to Highlands, but were far enough away to really feel “away from it all”. Thank you again, we’re already planning our next visit!

Exceptional!
Nestle Inn is a great retreat – we felt luxuriously comfortable! The views are amazing! Huge decks and so many extras! Great place for kids. So many games and things to keep them entertained. The whole house is updated, beautifully decorated and has such a warm feel. The beds are so comfy and the house is exceptional clean and well maintained. Linda is very responsive and accommodating. We will definitely be back!

Nestle Inn - A Perfect Retreat!
We absolutely loved our mountain getaway to the Highland at NestleInn. Tucked away on quiet and serene Scaly Mtn this home is beautifully decorated with cozy bedding, warm fireplace and a firepit, and plenty of porch space for rocking, reading, and relaxing. The hosts Linda and Bill left the lights on for us when we arrived, cinnamon rolls and coffee for breakfast, and were a text away of we needed anything. We will be back. Our favorite place in the mountains so far!
