The property was very clean. My room was super clean and the comforter smelled like lilacs! I stayed at the Marriot the week before and there is no comparison. The Hampton Inn totally rocked! When I arrived, I was to have King study. I went to my room which was very nice and clean but for some reason I could hear a lot of noise outside of the room (HVAC system). I went down and spoke to Ashley and Robin at the front desk and Ashley was immediately working on placing me in another room. I was up there for a week-long stay having intense visual and ocular therapy that I needed which was only in this area. Ashley was so kind because she understood that I needed a super quite room so she placed in in a king suite which was a corner room and very quiet at no extra charge! Totally amazing and so kind! The morning breakfast was great and they always had something special added to the breakfast area. They also had "to go" bags made up at the desk which had an apple, water, breakfast bars etc. in it for people on the go. All these little extras really made my stay really enjoyable especially being up there alone and away for my family for two weeks while trying to get better. The housekeeper ( I wish I would have gotten her name) was awesome also. She caught on that I had therapy in the AM, then would come back to rest and then go back for more therapy. She made sure my room was always clean and ready for me. I definitely would stay here again and again!

Very comfy beds and pillows. Great options for breakfast. Our room was very clean as well as the rollaway bed we requested. The staff we encountered was very friendly and helpful. Nice large breakfast area and really enjoyed having a hot tea and coffe area available when we arrived, despite the late hour.

I’d like to thank Ashley, for making our check-in and hotel stay excellent. In addition for upgrading our room which was a huge bonus. Our room was beautiful very clean. Overall stay a 10 out of 10 will definitely come back and stay again

We enjoyed staying at the Hampton Inn Wilkes-Barre. The staff was ready to help us check in immediately upon arrival. We checked into a lovely 5th floor King room with a good sized bathroom. I liked the layout of the bathroom so we wouldn't be in each others way. The shower was big and there was plenty of room around the sink to put all of my "stuff"! The front desk acknowledged that we were Hilton Honors members and gave us bottles of water. I think it would be nice if everyone received bottled water. I gave the overall rating of 4 because there were no firmer pillows, the shower head was too high for me to reach to change the setting ( I am 5' 3") and when it was changed (by my husband), it really didn't didn't change much so the water pressure was weak making it take longer to get the soap out of my hair. Maybe new shower heads are needed! But overall it was a very good stay.
