The location worked very well for our needs. Very close to the needle and the city center. A little bit of a walk to pike market. There is a market right down the way so very useful. The room is spacious and it comes with a kitchen, but no stove or oven so no real cooking can be done. Also no garbage disposal so careful with food scraps. The rooms could be cleaner. There is an unpleasant smell that permeates the building. A musty sort of smell, perhaps from being wet all the time in seattle but if they could do something about that it would make the stay significantly better. The staff were pleasant and courteous, and when there was a problem with out room (shower broken) then did move us to one with a working shower immediately. I appreciate that. The downside is the room description says there is a king bed and a twin pullout couch. In our first room there was a pull out couch but it was no twin, had to be a single. In our second room there was no pull out. My daughter likes her own sleeping space. We made it work out of necessity, but I did ask if there was a way to get another room with either a couch or double bed situation. Apparently the hotel was quite full so they couldn't find another room with a couch available. But the room with two beds they claimed was a different rate and therefore they couldn't switch me to it. I understand it may be a different rate but as it as the hotels fault in not getting me another couch they should have done what was necessary to accom

BEWARE!!! DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE!!! The pictures are very misleading. - The carpet and furniture are stained and very old - There is no elevator, you will carry your own luggage upstairs - Bed was broken in our first room and the second room reeked of smoke. They knew that it did and had sent a maid to spray the room for it as we were leaving. - We did not stay because of the aforementioned problems yet THEY WOULD NOT REFUND MY MONEY! So, all this to say, you will be sorely disappointed in this place. There is no question that my money should be refunded yet they refuse to do so. EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE.
