A delightful hotel.

Pros: The front desk staff was so kind and accommodating. We felt welcomed. The restaurant staff was great.
Location: Close to the WAMU event center, to both the Safeco field and the Century Link field. Close to some amazing restaurants. Close to church.
The Arctic Club Hotel is still styled as it was originally built, around 1914 as a gentlemen's club. The furnishings, the restaurant and rooms take you back to the early 1900s but with the comfort of 2018. The room was sparkling clean, the beds were comfortable and it was large enough to accomodate my adult son and myself, allowing us some privacy for each of us, yet a cozy living room ambiance.

Disappointed

Location: Only 2 blocks to the waterfront, but I still can't recommend it.
While the location of this hotel is super convenient to the water, and has great historical value, I can't say much more for it. The interior is dark and dingy and the lobby is quite small. We had no access to the area pictured with the fireplace and "ice" bar because it was booked for a wedding. But the WORST part is, we were given a room with what I suppose you could call a walk-in shower. That is to say, there is no shower pan and the bottom of the shower is basically just part of the floor, but with a drain. OK, so not a big deal except when my husband took a quick shower, the entire room flooded and even ran out onto the carpeting in the main room. So, we figure something is wrong and call the desk. They send someone up with a huge stack of towels, I guess so we could mop it all up. We tried to explain what happened to the person who came up and found out he couldn't speak english, so no help there. Next day, I try to make a "dam" out of towels, but the whole thing flooded again. You couldn't safely use a hair dryer or anything else when we were walking in 1/2 inch of water. So, they moved us to a different room the second night with a normal tub/shower. Best part is, the person at the desk laughed and said "didn't anyone warn you?". This was NOT a cheap hotel.

Very easy access to Sport Event Stadium

Pros: Convenience of being able to walk to everything.
Cons: When you have an amazing historical building and great Hotel Staff, but then a rude bar/restaurant associated with it, not good.
Location: Half a mile from Pioneer Square, and about the same to Pikes Market. The Stadiums for both Football and Baseball were within about .7 miles also.
Valet Parking was great, very friendly front desk. But, the Juno Club, customer service was HORRIBLE. Never greeted when arrived, sat a the bar and the bartender never acknowledged us (there was only 10 customers in the entire bar area who had been served, and no one in the seated restaurant), three other servers were on the floor and also never greeted us. Was there a good 10min, and finally as we were leaving the bartender hurried to us, but it was too late. Found a few great sports bars along the route to the Stadium. The room was amazing, great black out drapes, but the shower was the entire bathroom, and the floor had settled away from the drain causing a good 1 1/2 in. of standing water in the entire bathroom (made for a shock when going to the restroom in the middle of the night). Sorry, not worth the amount of money I paid for one night.

Adventure!

Staying here makes me feel like a visit to the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.  Great decor, very well appointed rooms, and the bar includes a proper absinthe service.  Staff was extremely helpful.  Great place to stay when you're actually there long enough to enjoy the room, not just crash.

Lovely Updated Hotel

We only stayed at the Arctic Club for one night because we were in town for a Mariner game but we loved the hotel and will stay there again next year when we return to Seattle to watch the Red Sox play the Mariners! Service: The valet was very friendly as he helped us unload our bags from the car. The front desk, while friendly, declined to let us check in 30 minutes early so we wandered off to get a late lunch. Tip - do not eat at the restaurant downstairs in the middle of the afternoon. They only had one person on staff and the manager was not interested in helping her as he just stood near the front door talking to someone while we sat for 15 minutes without so much as a glass of water. Decor - loved the old fashioned ambience of the hotel! From the furniture to the lighting to the glass door on the bathroom, it was all so well thought out! Yes, the bathroom is on the small side but was clean and everything looked new. The elevators are small too but it made for humorous conversation when 8 of us squeezed in after the ball game! Location - nice walk to Safeco Field. We did not go anywhere else (such as Pike Place or the Space Needle) on this trip.

Great for a single night stop over

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet
The room was very small, but we knew that upon booking. We were only doing a one night stay on our way to an Alaskan cruise so we were not concerned with the room size. There are larger rooms available and I would recommend that if you plan to stay a couple nights. The location was ideal. We were within walking distance to the piers, great restaurants, and many of the tourist attractions. We would stay again.

This hotel made me feel comfortable.

Pros: Free Internet
This hotel was a delight to stay with. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The location was ideal for using the light rail from the airport and it was in walking distance to the water and Pioneer Square. Would definately stay here again.
