Inside, the gorgeous gourmet kitchen features plenty of workspaces, all the major appliances (and many of the minor ones!) and everything you need to whip up anything from a simple snack to a lavish brunch. Or if barbecuing is more your thing, fire up the charcoal grill and sit around the fire pit while you breathe in the fresh mountain air. The kids will love the rec room, where they can enjoy a movie on the enormous TV in theater -style chairs and assorted arcade games. You'll especially appreciate the handy kitchenette nearby!

Drakes Mountain Hideaway has four bedrooms and sleeps 15. The main level has a bedroom with a queen bed, the upstairs bedroom has a queen bed with a futon, the loft also has a day bed. Two bedrooms are downstairs, one with a bunk bed (single over double), the other with a queen bed. There is also a couch sleeper, and a loveseat sleeper for extra guests. One of the bedrooms also has access to a private balcony, and three full bathrooms mean no waiting in line for the shower in the mornings. There's even a washer and dryer, so you can pack light and shop for fun souvenirs.

Enjoy the ease and access of boating and fishing on Douglas Lake or take in Great Smoky Mountains National Park which offers hiking, biking, seasonal skiing, and snowboarding. There is an abundance of clear mountain streams and rivers for trout fishing, tubing, kayaking and canoeing that will keep you busy.
