Never going here again!

I can't believe Hampton would put their name on this place! It seemed like they were renovating in the middle of an overbooked weekend. At check-in, the key machine was not working, so someone had to take us to our room and let us in. We left for dinner an hour later and it still was not fixed. On our return from dinner, we stood waiting to get a key for 30 minutes or more. Finally, we got our keys. That night, I tried to get a shower, only to find the water would only run into the wall, not the showerhead! When we called the front desk to report the problem, they only said, "OK" and we were not offered any alternatives. They were overbooked and did not have any other rooms. We just had to take a bath, and no shower. I could go on, but I'll just add pictures.

The hotel was fine.

Pros: it was a place to sleep
Cons: the description from travelocity there needs to be a disclaimer that a deposit is required for this hotel. Also they are not pet friendly.
Travelocity misrepresented their features. We had requested a smoking room, this hotel is completely smokefree and needs to be updated. The buffet was meh The rooms were clean The staff was decent ALSO they required a deposit hold for incidentals...never in all my years have I had that, and I wasn't the only person that was shocked, several folks checking in were also shocked. THIS NEEDS TO BE POSTED they require an extra deposit.

Room was not clean, coffee stirs on the floor by the foot. Alarm clock not working, staff was friendly but the good stopped ther.
