Cleaning a vacation home is no small task even during normal times. Laura and I have taken even greater measures in providing a clean and sanitized home for the safely of our guests during this unprecedented event . We are following all cleaning guidelines as suggested by the CDC.
Also we are not allowing back to back reservations at this time to allow for a proper time period to perform adequate cleaning and sanitizing .
Your safety and health are of primary concern.
The Omega Retreat is located in an isolated area providing a low level stress free environment.
Please check our reviews showing where our guests have commented on the cleanliness of our home on numerous occasions.

While enjoying and staying in this newly renovated charming Five-bedroom three bath retreat with all the amenities.

Located just outside of Somerset in the Omega Park recreational area.
Come enjoy the beautiful and peaceful surroundings of the Daniel Boone National forest as you fish, canoe, kayak, or just pleasure ride the undisturbed picturesque Cumberland River.
Boating on the Cumberland is made easy with the Omega boat ramp less than 1000 feet away for easy launching.
If you are looking for a change of pace and the excitement of others is something you want, then a short 30-40 minute leisurely boat ride along the historic river has you in the middle of it all.
Otherwise relax in the serenity and peacefulness of Omega Park and appreciate the beauty of the Cumberland River.
Enjoy a bike ride or a short hike or maybe just sit back and take in some much needed rest.
We offer high speed internet allowing streaming and Zoom meetings (if necessary)

The Cumberland river shoreline is protected by the Army Corp of Engineers. They have done a wonderful job in keeping the river in a natural and wilderness setting. As a result our home (The Retreat) only offers seasonal views of the Cumberland river.

Lake Cumberland Retreat
Beautiful house with great kitchen near upper end of Lake Cumberland, Burnside & Somerset. If Wolf Creek Dam is the "alpha" then this property is the Omega Retreat.

Awesome place
Peaceful quiet setting, home is very well appointed and has everything needed to enjoy a few days with friends. Lots of seating on the decks and around the fire pit. We loved our time there and would highly recommend!

Making Memories
Each year we look for an adventurous place to spend our family vacation. The Omega Retreat was absolutely wonderful and we had a great time making lots of cherished memories. The owners were so attentive to every detail and everything we needed was in place when we arrived. They went above and beyond with the pontoon boat rental which absolutely made a fun week on the river together. The home is beautiful and can accommodate a family of 8 adults and 2 children comfortably. I can’t say enough about how well things went and what an awesome time we had staying at the Omega Retreat!

Great location….and wheelchair friendly
This home was great for our needs…a chance for extended family to reconnect. The home is very wheelchair friendly - our son had access to a bedroom, bathroom, and all of the upstairs living area. He could manage the front door threshold easily and could access the back deck and backyard firepit with a little help. He was able to fully participate in everything the family did, which was wonderful. The home had everything we needed and had enough kayaks/tubes/towels for the whole family. Phone access was spotty but it helped us all decompress. We had fun!

Wonderful family reunion !
Our family of twelve ...... from Arizona, Michigan, and Wisconsin ..... enjoyed our week at the Omega Retreat. The house was suited for our 4 families. Lots of room for everyone, kayaks were a plus, and the house was super clean with lots of extras included ! David was a great host and so helpful.

Great River Getaway!
Had a fantastic time staying at the Omega Retreat! Dave was more than helpful with anything we needed and communication was excellent. The house had everything we needed and more! We brought our boat and primarily stayed on the water! 10/10 would stay again!
