The stay was fine, it’s a budget motel, but I left a sweater behind, I called staff said they would call back no call, I stayed again a few weeks later asked about the sweater, kept getting the run around that cleaning staff were not available, couldn’t get a hold of them, etc etc, I received conflicting information yes im they had but it was locked in a room etc etc, needless to say there was little effort to address my issue.

Room temperature was cool. Front Desk clerk great. Great clothes dryer very hot. Didn't like that room smelled muggy right off had to tackle a flying roach. Control for tv not working. Hide away sofa bed no linen.

The location was excellent. The room was extremely musty! Bought Lysol and candles to cover it up, but that didn’t help! Mattress was old and hard. My husband slept in lawn chair both nights!

If there were any issues with the bed we would have been happy to provide a new bed or provide a different room if this issue would have been reported to our staff instead of sleeping on a lawn chair like you report. We would have also been happy to correct the issue regarding the musty smell if we would have been made aware. we apologize for any and all inconveniences which may have occurred during your stay.

Thank you for taking the time for reviewing our property. All of our mattresses are under 2 years old. Although we will still be inspecting them all to make sure they are in excellent condition. Its important to us that all of our guests have a good night sleep.

Hotel in Port Isabel close to downtown & shuttle

Basic hotel on main drag through town, close to downtown restaurants, Walmart, and on the free shuttle route through South Padre Island. Basic continental breakfast. Very helpful, friendly staff. Would go there again in the future.

Comfortablie in great location

The hotel was comfortable for the rate. It was also in a great location to shopping and food. The only negative was the room was non-smoking but as soon as you walked in you could smell cigarette smoke.
