Room itself was fine, bed comfortable, good pillows. Cleanliness was sub-par, trash cans had not been emptied and coverlet was stained. Microwave and fridge in room worked well. Check in took quite some time and we were not acknowledged as we waited for about 10 minutes as someone else was being checked in not given an apology about the wait when it was our turn. Fitness room is two old ellipticals and a recumbent bike, no weights, and the floor had not been cleaned in some time. Doable if you have to stay there for proximity to the hospital ( we were there to be close to the airport) but life flight flies in directly behind the hotel, so not quiet.

We sincerely apologize for your experience regarding hot water at our hotel, Darrell. I want to assure all potential guests that we do not have an issue, but the communication between our Front Desk and Darrell was sorely lacking. We are immediately conducting training sessions with our staff to remind them of Riversage customer service expectations. We hope you'll give us another shot, Darrell, to demonstrate a true Riversage experience!

Abominable customer service. Receptionist was unapologetically unhelpful and refused to give phone number or email to reach management. The shower was lukewarm in both am and pm. The hot/cold was reversed in the shower. Scant amenities with very few items for breakfast. Upon arrival, a groundsperson was cutting down a tree with a hand saw, the tree fell, and narrowly missed hitting our car. From beginning to end, this was a stressful and unpleasant stay, which was unfortunate as the reason we were in town was for our daughter's surgery, and this only added to that stress.

This review is completely inaccurate, and we have waiting for the writer of this review to post such untruths. This reviewer is by no means "anonymous". In fact, the writer of this review is angry because they caused significant room damage for which we are holding them responsible. We hope readers of reviews will look towards our numerous other reviews for a true representation of what a stay at The Madison Inn by Riversage will be like. Thank you!

Property is litered with homeless, not a safe area to park your car, and hotel staff told my father he had to stat in his room because they couldn't make his room key work. Unacceptable since i paid over 150$ to stay for 5 hours! Pitiful

We would like to address the inaccuracy of several claims in this review. First, Spokane's South Hill neighborhood is primarily high-end residential and very safe. Second, we would never make a guest stay in his or her room for any reason. Like and normal hotel, our guests are free to come and go as they please. Third, this guest did not pay $150 for only 5 hours on property. They stayed for a full 24 hrs and paid the rates we've posted online -- decidedly less than $150. Not only do our records confirm this, but Travelocity shows the same. We hope readers will immediately grasp the falsehoods within this review and instead look towards the many many other recent reviews indicting excellent experiences as being more representative of the experience they will have at The Madison Inn by Riversage.

This is a great hotel for those going for hospital visit the back door of hotel faces hospital emergency entrance on 8th. Plus the staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the beds too.

While we are adjacent to the Sacred Heart Medical Center, many of our guests travel to Spokane for all sorts of leisure and business reasons. They enjoy our hotel because of our convenience to downtown but neighborhood location, proximity to restaurants, and shopping. We hope to see you again soon, no matter the reason for your visit!

This propery is located near Sared Heart hospital, downtown Spokane and Spokane airport. It was quiet and the morning beakfast was okay. There were some restaurants close by within walking distance. If you want to venture out further a rental car is recommended.
