Courtyard

Location: All kinds of Lincoln activities.
Spent 2 days with the family in Springfield IL during Christmas break and stayed at the Courtyard Marriot. It was a great value with all the amenities I like.

My stay.

I went through your site for my weekend room at the Courtyard by Marriott Springfield and the hotel was nice but the staff missed out on a few things. While there the hotel couldn't find my breakfast vouchers that I paid for and when I received my credit card bill, the Courtyard by Marriott Springfield double charged me for the room that I had already paid for. It was a nice hotel but the staff needs to be better trained on using their computer systems, so they don't wreck people weekends.

Nice hotel --but the pool room is very loud!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Courtyard by Marriott in Springfield. However, they really should put in some curtains, plants or sound absorbing tiles in the ceiling so that the pool area isn't so noisy!

Great Hotel Near All Shopping

This hotel is in a great location near the city's Mall and other shopping centers and restaurants. The staff that I encountered was pleasant and helpful and the hotel was clean and nice. This is my second stay at this hotel and I will book here again next year for an annual trip to Springfield.

Good Budget Hotel

It was a nice hotel for a reasonable price. Pool is a little smaller than we thought so it can get a little crowded if there are other guests. It is in a convenient location with lots of stores. It is a "little" out of the way from downtown Springfield, so it truly is about a 15 minute drive. Not bad though. We would stay again.

A Comfortable Stay

My husband & I are in our late 50's, and wanted a room in Springfield for just 1 night so we could visit the new Lincoln museum. The Courtyard was perfect for that. The room was clean, the beds very comfortable, there was a mini fridge in the room. It is a newer hotel, so everything was in excellent shape. . There was a decent steak house across the street. The pool looked nice, as did the excerise room.. The staff was friendly, they also sold food items that could be microwaved or taken to your room. We would definitely stay there again for a weekend visit to Springfield.
