We like the historic charm and how the owners have maintained original features. t the same time, the room has the amenities of newer hotels. It’s also within walking of historic sights in Springfield which is a plus for us.

A delightful b&b. The rooms are absolutely charming and the staff very welcoming and friendly. Love the extra touches - it makes a thoughtful and wonderful impression.

The inn is beautiful in a shabby chic kind of way. We were looking for an old historic inn and this was perfect. There were wine and cheese appetizers for happy hour when we arrived. The reception was wonderful, and we were given lots of information on things to see and do. After the wine on the veranda, we went to our suite to find warm chocolate chip cookies in a basket on our door handle. The beds were so comfortable with marvelous pillows. Breakfast in the morning was superb, and Bradley, the chef, was so helpful. He went out of his way to meet our needs. He couldn’t have been nicer.
